  Ärende: ABC 850 Winchester controller

  Hej! Does anybody know what is the make and model of the actual Winchester controller card in the ABC 850? Not the Luxor adapter card but the one that connects directly to the hard disk. I need this info so I can properly emulate it in MESS; the adapter card is sending a SASI command 0x0c + 10 data bytes which is vendor specific.

    Yes, Xebec 1410: http://bitsavers.informatik.uni-stuttgart.de/pdf/xebec/104524C_S1410Man_Aug83.pdf In some versions of the ABC852/856 (models with tape streamer) some Adaptec card was used instead. /Anders
